The $2 Bread Pot - love these warm mini French Bread - Yum! ^_^
HRW Course 1 - Soup of the Day: Ginger Carrot Soup (flavor is refreshing but thought could need a little more seasoning)
HRW Course 1 - Homemade Pâté - Chicken Liver with a touch of Brandy
The pate itself has a very rich and nice winery flavor; too bad the salad was over salted! +_+
Beef Bourguignon with Mushrooms and Bacon over mash potato - the sauce is very nicely done, however, the beef itself tasted kind of dry (amazed at how it can be done, especially with so much sauce around :P)
Duck Leg Confit with Flageolet Beans and Tomatoes - there is so much salt on this dish (from duck to the beans) that I stopped eating after finished one leg and drank about 5~6 glasses of water! Had very nice duck confit at Mark's and other French restaurants and I truly hope it's either just my dish that gone so wrong on this night :P
HRW Desserts: Profiteroles and Waffle with Mint Ice Cream (portions are pretty small on the waffle and the profiteroles are not easy to eat)
The atmosphere was nice, the food portion for HRW was small, a few of the dishes we had were over salted... and I asked to stop by HEB food truck and had a Swaggy Dog sushi roll at Muiishi after that ...yes! I was still hungry after the $100 dinner! =.=
